Visiting my LJ. Shoots, I miss good old LJ days.
How's everyone doing?
I'm doing good. Hubby is doing so much better. We have a GYM where we live and are trying to walk there and spend at least 15 mns there every morning. Ok, almost every morning. Ok, as many times a week as possible. ^_^; Just had my yearly Doctor visit and I lost 5 lbs. Yeyyyy!!! Can you read my sarcasm? Guess better than gaining the lbs, right? But we're motivated now. I don't want to end up in the hospital like hubby did and I need to help him get better and better.
Went to a Hot Air Balloon festival in New Smyrna Beach recently. That was fun.
And just had a get together with my friends I had not seen in YEARS! My friend Lisa I had not seen in about 15 Years!!! One of the 'Lost Girls' (how we liked calling ourselves) wasn't there 'tho. :(
We really missed you Claudia. And we don't have good pictures of our get-together because you were not there. ^_^;; I really enjoyed remembering how much fun we used to have being silly taking pictures going over Stacey's photo album. We all looked SO YOUNG! Sasha looked 12!
Oh, I was surprised Lisa lives only like 10 mns from my sister Evy. All these years she was so close and I didn't know. We all promised not to lose touch again and to try and get together at least once a month. It was so great to catch up with our lives and to see how even after all these years the friendship is still there.

Just wanted to wish all my LJ friends a very Happy New Year!!!
How's everyone this first Sunday of the year? Got up really early this morning to go check out Target's after Christmas clearances and the stuff is still 75% off. Shoots!
I already got some stuff at 75 off but I always look forward their 90% clearance! *_* Hee-hee! It was really cold early this morning too... for Florida that is!
Hubby had to take out the heated blanket last night. I always make fun of him when he says he's cold. I thought coming from Wisconsin he would be wearing shorts here all winter but he gets more cold than tropical me. Hee-hee! It's really nice to snuggle on cold nights 'tho. I'm always warm and he's always cold, so it works out good. ^_^;
Oh, hubby got me a really cute pink mini laptop for Christmas! Looks adorable with my Hello Kitty mouse.
Our Christmas tree is still up and I'm dreading taking it down. Christmas goes by so fast! :( Call me crazy but I was thinking of maybe leaving it up all year around and just changing the decorations according to the season / holiday. A Valentine's day Christmas tree....
I still have my Christmas tree up on my YoVille house too! ^_^;

Hi! My name is Mari and this is my third or fourth year participating on this Christmas LJ project. I love it! ^_^
Last Christmas I was getting ready to marry my sweetie. We met right here on Live Journal so this place is very special to us.
This will be our first Christmas as a married couple so I'm super excited.
My Holiday Wishlist:
1. Christmas Ornaments / decorations... especially a "Our First Christmas Together" Ornament.
2. Beads / Beaded Jewelry - Glass/ semiprecious beads or jewelry making supplies. Old beaded jewelry I can recycle.
3. New Makeup... I'm low on mascara. Black mascara, eye liners (black / blue / white), pretty lipsticks, nail polish. I love make-up!
4. Games - Monopoly, PayDay, Scene it, 80s games, and just classic games.
5. Hot Air Balloon - Anything Hot Air Balloons related... hot air balloon ornaments, figurines, anything.
6. My laptop crashed... family pictures and all... ): We would love a new laptop / desktop computer... doesn't have to be a fancy one. This is my #1 wish but I know it's an expensive one. We're saving for one so let me know if you would like to donate to our paypal account.
7. Photo Printer - I love photography and would love to be able to print my own pictures at home.
8. Walmart or Target gift card. Doesn't matter if it's for $1, we shop at those places a lot. Any other gift cards, including restaurant ones are welcome.
9. Florida attraction tickets. Sea World, Universal Studios, Disney, or any of the other smaller attractions. We would love to go see ICE (Gaylor Palms ICE) this year but not sure if we can afford it. I've never seen snow and this is the closest to seeing snow here in Florida. Hi Everyone! I haven't forgotten of my LiveJournal.... this is a special place for me! Hope all my LJ friends are doing good. *HUGS*
Still enjoying married life... Tom is a great husband and we're doing great. ^_^
I just had my birthday last Saturday and it was lovely. Hubby took me to a surprise adventure... I love surprises and adventures! ^_^
He took me to the Gardens of Bok Towers for my birthday. I LOVE the Bok Tower... it's like a Gothic castle with singing bells singing Carillon music! So beautiful!

So who here has a YoVille apartment on Facebook? I've been playing with it for only three days now and I'm hooked! ^_^;;;

So how is everyone? Tom and I are doing great. We live in this really cute apartment. I had never lived in an apartment before but this is a really nice apartment complex with two big club houses, two nice pools, a tennis court, gym, and a nice big lake with lots of birds and animal life. Our apartment is small but we have a patio where Tommy likes grilling and we even have a small garden with pretty flowers, a tomato plant, and several pepper plants.
I live a little over an hour away from my Mom and Dad. Not close enough to see them as much as I wish I could, with gas being so expensive now, but I visit at least once a month. I'm looking forward spending this weekend over there. My sister is having a pool birthday party for my nephew Anthony. I miss Nuriko. And I'm sure he misses me too. Sometimes when I visit I feel like he's a little mad at me for leaving him behind. I wish we could have him here at the apartment.
So what have we been to lately? We go to the pool at least once a week so I'm tan for the first time in my life. I used to get red the rare times I went to the beach and then went back to pale white, but now I have a real tan. Last time I went to my house my Mom thought I was wearing panty hose.
My swimming is getting better. Slowly progressing from doggie paddle to real swimming. I discovered I'm unsinkable... like unsinkable Molly from the Titanic. Tommy says it's thanks to my girlie floatties. Hee-hee!
I felt from a swing the other day... OUCH! I was sitting on the swing taking pictures of this cute squirrel when I lost my valance and felt back to the ground. I hurt my back a little and woke up the next morning on pain and hardly being able to walk straight but Tommy took good care of me and I recuperated fast, thank God.
That same week our neighbor upstairs passed away ): so the apartment people moved us to one of their nice model apartments. We lived there for almost a week and the whole time we felt like we were on vacation. The apartment was all nicely furnished, we had an extra bedroom, and a beautiful lake view. Oh, and so close to the pool we could walk there. We're trying to eat healthier and still go for walks whenever we can. It's been raining a lot for the last two weeks and I'm loving it. <3 Rain <3
We've been meaning to go to this beach in Tampa near 'Honeymoon Island', which was voted best beach in the world, but the weather has not allowed us to.
This July 23rd will be our 5 months anniversary and Tom is still as romantic and sweet as when we were dating. I <3 my hubby! Well, that's it for now. I think Hubby is getting bored and I need to go entertain him. ^_~
